Iceberg Sustainable, LLC, a “Near Zero Waste”, sustainability company, was formed to

innovate, cultivate and source/license technology-based solutions for the Municipal Solid Waste,

Wastewater, and Soil conditioning industries, with the goal of further reducing combustion with

biogenic microbial processes. We are a minority-owned business concern located in Maryland.

Our intention is to construct and facilitate the operation of a state-of-the-art “Dirty MRF” to be

located on existing, sunsetting, municipal landfills. Some of the benefits of this proposed site are:

• This AI-based Dirty MRF, separates and sizes the waste, to convert it to renewable energy,

while upcycling the other valuable non-biogenic components of Solid Waste. The

upcycling and the balance of waste;

o Organic/putrescible waste is diverted to Plug Flow Anaerobic Digestion (a

commercially proven method, currently in operation in California) processes, a

microbial-based conversion to Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) for parasitic

energy to drive onsite Combined Heat and Power (CHP), to renewables markets

with solid and liquid digestate (fertilizer) offtakes. Additional benefits include this

being a RINs qualifying method and perhaps most beneficially, it is CARBON-

FREE.

• We capture and recycle the ferrous, non-ferrous (i.e. aluminum cans), Cardboard (OCC),

and plastics from the waste stream, while all other components are upcycled.

• 100% of the waste plastic is converted to Balkrete, a patented, lightweight, modified

polymer aggregate, using “Fractionating and Balkanizing Methods”. The process is a

pending Clean Development Method, and will qualify as an Environmental Product

Declaration (EPD). We capture three tons of Carbon for each ton of waste plastic which is

then used to create Balkrete. This procedure is REC qualified.

In addition, we are negotiating the exclusive rights, and engaging the academic and scientific

communities in Washington, D.C. and Maryland to complete the research on the “SG-AS-IR-8”

biological microbes. These microbes have been tested in Nigeria, in chemical/oil and gas clean-

ups and are currently being tested by a team at Virginia Tech. They have been proven to rid soil

and water of the forever chemicals, PFAS, AFFF, as well as the petroleum family of forever

chemicals. We have a non-exclusive right, globally to these methodologies. We will condition and

rid the MSW offtakes from our Dirty MRF and digestates of these forever chemicals. Once our

research has been completed, we will design a commercialization effort, to include this revenue

stream into the Iceberg Renewables model.

“Near Zero Waste, plus a negative-carbon process facility”, with blue water delivered back

to our streams, rivers and beloved Chesapeake Bay.

LEEP RENEWABLE ENERGY RECOVERY FACILITIES

LEEP has green technology that will dramatically reduce waste going to the landfill today, and would be going to a transfer station to be shipped to a landfill in the future.

Our transformational technologies can reduce municipal solid waste (MSW) that is currently landfilled by up to 90%. This dramatic reduction is achieved by capturing (through fractionating) many valuable resources in the MSW stream and generates new revenues for landfill owners and municipalities.

Our patented and patent pending technologies remove the majority of the anthropogenic (fossil based) carbon from municipal solid waste. The Wett biogenic fraction is converted into a renewable biogas which can be upgraded/conditioned to pipeline, for CHP and or for Transportation as a renewable compressed natural biogas.  Our process also yields a synthetic concrete aggregate which has many green building applications. Our aggregate concrete is stronger, more energy efficient, and lighter in weight than other currently utilized concretes. In Addition we recover 100% of the high value metals and glass, for the participating stakeholders.

LEEP's systems and technologies turn municipal solid waste streams from a liability into an asset. Municipalities and landfill owners will realize millions of dollars of revenue versus the current huge costs associated with waste disposal. Our goal is to provide municipalities with the ability to control its waste stream and provide welcome revenues in these trying economic times, while creating new green jobs.
